There are currently no reported interactions between Xeljanz (tofacitinib) and alcohol. However, serious interactions can occur for those simultaneously taking methotrexate [Otrexup (PF), Xatmep, Trexall] with Xeljanz.
Interactions
Since every patient is different, there is no set amount regarding how much alcohol a person can consume while taking methotrexate. Experts advise avoiding alcohol while taking this drug, though.
