According to Mayo Clinic, if you miss a dose of Mupirocin, take it as soon as you can, unless you are closer to the time of your next dose. Skip your dose if you are closer to your next dosing time.

Seek medical attention immediately if you believe you used too much Mupirocin.

Dosage and Administration

A small amount of mupirocin ointment should be applied to the affected area 3 times daily. The area treated may be covered with a gauze dressing if desired. Patients not showing a clinical response within 3 to 5 days should be re-evaluated. Always follow your physicians instructions precisely.

Mupirocin is supplied as a topical ointment. It typically comes in a tube with 22g of ointment.
