If you consume alcohol while taking prednisone or another steroid, you may experience adverse side effects. These include:
- Upset stomach
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Dizziness
- Lightheadedness
Generally speaking, the more alcohol you consume while taking steroids, the more potential it has to harm your body. In some cases, alcohol can also exacerbate the common side effects of prednisone.
